1. Scope of these terms
These terms apply to this website, its chat workspace and IT assistance offered under the Expert Helpline Online name. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. If you have a question before using the service, contact contact@experthelplineonline.com. Do not start paid work unless you understand and accept its separate scope and price.
2. Eligibility and authority
Use the service only if you can legally authorize the assistance you request. A parent or guardian must supervise any use by a minor and authorize any purchase where required. For a business device, account or system, you must have the organization’s permission to request changes. Provide accurate information about the issue and your authority.
3. Free initial discussion
Submitting a question and the initial discussion do not require payment. A welcome message appears automatically, and available specialists can review waiting conversations to decide whether to accept them. Staff availability varies; an availability label is not a guarantee of an immediate response. We may decline requests outside our scope.
4. Paid services and approval
Before paid work begins, the specialist must describe the work and its one-time price. You may decline the quote. Approving a quote records your agreement to that proposal; it does not automatically debit a card or complete a payment. The current preview has no connected online payment gateway. If a payment method becomes available, the amount, currency and applicable charges must be presented before payment. We do not enroll you in an automatic subscription.
5. Changes, cancellation and refunds
Tell the specialist before work starts if you want to cancel or change the service. Any additional charge requires a revised agreement. If a paid service is cancelled before delivery or cannot be supplied, contact us to arrange the appropriate cancellation or refund. For partially delivered or disputed work, we review the agreed scope, work completed and applicable rights. Report duplicate or unauthorized charges promptly. Refund timing depends on the payment method and provider; this policy does not remove rights provided by applicable consumer law.
6. Your devices and information
Keep a current backup before making changes. Follow instructions only when you understand them, and ask for clarification when needed. You remain in control of your device and any third-party accounts. Do not share passwords, payment-card details, recovery keys or verification codes in chat. Any future remote-access service would require a separate explanation and your explicit permission.
7. Conversations and access
You retain rights in the information you submit and authorize us to use it to provide and administer support. Relevant staff may review unassigned chats; after assignment, the assigned specialist and authorized administrators can access the session. Completed sessions are read-only in the current application. The customer session relies on a browser cookie; clearing it or changing devices may prevent you from reopening that conversation automatically.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to gain unauthorized access, impersonate another person, distribute harmful software, harass staff or disrupt the site. Do not submit information you have no right to disclose. We may restrict access when necessary to address abuse or security risks. Requests to remove or correct personal information can be made through our contact email.
9. Independent service and third parties
We are an independent IT assistance service. Brand names do not imply endorsement, official certification or a commercial relationship with their owners. Your internet provider, software vendor and other third-party services remain responsible for their own products and terms. We cannot promise they will grant access, restore an account or change a decision.
10. Availability and technical outcomes
We aim to provide assistance with reasonable care. Internet failures, maintenance and staffing constraints can interrupt service. A chat or quote does not guarantee a fix, data recovery or compatibility. Any limits on responsibility apply only where permitted by law; nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Concerns and changes
Please send concerns to contact@experthelplineonline.com with the conversation reference and requested resolution. Applicable mandatory rights remain available to you. We may update these terms as the service changes and will revise the date on this page. New terms do not retrospectively change an already agreed service without an appropriate basis.
